Matthew

Having completed an undergraduate degree at the University of York, Matthew gained his PGCE with QTS in secondary teaching. After a few years, he transitioned into primary education, where he now works as a Junior School Assistant Head. As a subject co-ordinator for RE and music, he also runs an assembly programme and has led on KS2-KS3 transition. Matthew is a deputy designated safeguarding lead and has an NPQ in Leading Behaviour and Culture.

Matthew lives in Castleford with his wife and son, loves playing the piano and enjoys watching and playing football.
